Northern California Brain Injury Vocational Resources

Vocational resources can assist people who have suffered from traumatic brain injuries in numerous ways.  Not only can they assist in job placement, but they can also assist in acquiring skills for a specific career, and provide instruction about work attitudes, habits and social skills necessary for work success.

In addition to assistance in obtaining paid work, vocational resources can also assist in finding volunteer work.  This can be extremely beneficial to those who aren't quite ready for paid work.  The Volunteer Exchange can match the volunteer's needs (type of work, location, hours) with their database of organizations.

In this section, you will find local community resources, volunteer resources, government resources and job search resources.
